Ghost Kick Off Summer US Arena Tour in Baltimore with 22-Song Set!
What does Papa V Perpetua have in store for us?

Concerts? No, these are rituals. As Tobias Forge said, “the same way that you go to church on Sundays and there’s this community get-together where you’re being summoned. That's what ghost shoes are, and the songs, those are the scriptures.”
Well, consider me ready for church.
The ritual in Baltimore kicked off with “Peacefield” and “Lachryma,” two of four songs the band played from their 2025 album Skeleta. “Satanized” and “Umbra” followed further down the setlist.
After completing the European leg of the tour, fans who attended are complaining that the US tour always gets more attention than they do. “Per Aspera ad Inferi” played for the first time since 2019, and “Satan Prayer” since 2020, both of which Europe fans did not get to experience.
@millygrxy on TikTok posted “Waking up to see they played Per Aspera Ad Inferi on the first day of the American tour,” and many who attended the European tour commented their complaints below. @neonfishcake commented “This may sound salty, but why does America get the decent quality merch at the venues, even the US merch store is sooo much better and has more variety and gets more in general. Manc didn’t get a lot, yes, it was the first show, but surely that should have been the big bang moment.”
Still, while some fans mourn what they didn’t get, others are celebrating what Ghost chose to honor.
Meliora is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and had six songs played at the ritual, including “Circe” and Majesty.”
Encore has stayed with the same trio of songs for the past three tours with “Mary on a Cross,” “Dance Macabre,” and “Square Hammer.”

Ghost organizers are continuing their no phone policy that started at the Kia Forum for the filming of their movie “Rite Here Rite Now.”
“Even with the no phones policy, it was nice to see everyone interacting with the crowd, it was great,” said @mcdb_slides on TikTok. Forge implemented a “no phones” policy for Ghost’s 2025 world tour, requiring attendees to secure their phones in Yondr pouches. This policy is not intended for copyright control or preventing video monetization, but rather to create a more engaged and present audience during the performances.
“For two hours, you feel relieved of the chains that are the ether,” Tobias Forge told Guitar.com. “Maybe I’m old-fashioned. I just feel that we’re having an intimate moment, and it disturbs me that you’re filming while we’re doing this together.”
As someone who has attended three rituals in the last three years, here are some of my tips:
Pack light, especially if you’re in the pit. You don’t need anything but your debit card and ID since you’re phone will be locked up. At most a fanny pack.
If you’re part of any VIP program, get there early to get your stuff. A lot comes with the package, and if you don’t have a clear backpack or locker to rent, you’ll be carrying that big, heavy poster in the pit instead of having free hands. Here is a picture someone took of the merch given at VIP Baltimore.

Drink water and eat before. Concert tips 101, but it’s never caused any harm to remind people
Be kind to one another. We are all here to see our favorite, and we can build up a community from it, don’t tear it down
Have fun!
